Jeet Kune Do Seminar
Jeet Kune Do is the Martial Art style created by Bruce Lee, and one of the main tenants is "Absorb what is useful; Disregard that which is useless." I have been training extensively with Rogue JKD where the head instructor Jack has taken his over 40 years of Martial Arts experience (Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Kali, Sevat, & more) and absorbed the useful and hacked away the unessential from his fighting and thought process.
I am having a Jeet Kune Do Seminar to teach some of the many things I've learned since beginning JKD. We will cover skills to protect yourselves from fighters that may attack you in any of the 5 Ranges (Weapons, Kicking, Punching, Trapping, & Grappling).
This is the 2nd Seminar that I have hosted at Boulder Karate, there may be some review of some of the stuff from the last Seminar for anyone coming for the first time.

Jack Gialanella
Jack Gialanella is the owner and head instructor of Rogue JKD (old Business Name, Jack is in the process of rebranding). He has trained Martial Arts in several different styles. He is a licensed boxing coach through USA boxing and a former licensed MMA coach and corner with Colorado’s state athletics commission.
Jack spent his youth training boxing and traditional martial arts. In his teenage years, he switched mainly to boxing, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and Jiu Jitsu. He spent his adult years (so far) training extensively in Jeet kune Do, Filipino Martial arts, and MMA trying to catch his grappling up to his striking and weapons. He has combined his experience into his own understanding of Jeet Kune Do. His first exposure to what MMA felt like was in the early challenge-match days of the 90’s and 2000. The hard contact of MMA sparring and Dog Bothers style Kali, the way they used every range showed him what was missing from self-defense training. This lead to Jack’s focus on MMA literacy as a foundation for real self-defense in JKD and Filipino arts.
To his own surprise, his endeavor and knowledge caught the attention of Law Enforcement & Military and he helped to run many classes for representatives from several departments and agencies.
